Howard County Group

The Howard County Group is part of the Maryland Chapter of the Sierra Club, a national environmental organization. Why Maryland Needs Pesticide Usage Reporting Friday May 4, 7 PM, at the Robinson Nature Center, 6692 Cedar Lane, Columbia. There is a growing body of research about the negative consequences of chemical pesticides, including impacts on public health (particularly of farmers and commercial applicators), and our environment. We need a system to track the occurrence of pesticide applications, and better tracking of their impact on ourselves and our children, and our environment.
