Beyond Coal by Wire: March on Public Service Commission- No New Coal in MD!

When:

Dec 1, 2009

Details:

Down with King Coal: Rally for a Clean Energy Revolution

Previous Event

Down with King Coal!

Rally for a Clean Energy Revolution

Plans are being made to bring more dirty energy into Maryland.  Interstate transmission line proposals MAPP and PATH would cost consumers $3 billion to build.  The lines, if built, would enable some of the dirtiest coal plants in the nation to ramp up production and greenhouse gas emissions.

Our government needs to hear from us.  Do we want to invest in:

Wind and Solar energy       OR         John Amos Power Plant

The choice is clear.  Join us and let your voice be heard to rally against global warming and oppose more coal power in Maryland.

When: Tuesday, December 1st, 1pm-2pm
Where: Preston Gardens Park, Baltimore City
Corner of St. Paul St and E. Saratoga St

Date: Tuesday, December 1, 2009
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
