Activists of Maryland are you ready?!?
Last year was one of the most phenomenal years in Maryland's history in terms of the grassroots environmental movement. From the Global Warming Solutions Act, Critical Areas, Energy Efficiency and more, we showed solidarity, dedication, and devotion and truly made in difference in Maryland. With the legislative session nearing, we want to be ready to turn the heat up again this year!
Join us November 9th for an overview on some of the most important environmental issues in Annapolis to come in 2009. We will also be leading workshops on effective ways to influence your representative:
-How to hold district meetings with your elected official
-How to run Letter to the Editor campaigns
-How to motivate others in your community to take action
Walk away from the meeting empowered with others and ready to meet with your legislator!
